Pet care experience
I am a dog lover. My husband Bill is also a dog lover. We’ve been together for over 12 years and we both grew up together in Colorado as kids. I had dogs my whole life growing up in Colorado and Bill had dogs and cats growing up. My son, my ex-husband and I had several dogs and I used to take care of lots of dogs in the neighborhood in Los Angeles where I lived for 35 years. Bill had two large labradors for over 13 years when he lived in Colorado - before he moved to California. Lots of my friends ask if I can housesit their dog when they travel. I feel that I have a gift with animals and my husband would say that he’s just as gifted. Lol. We definitely have patience, humor and lots of love. We also respect boundaries and what people want with their dogs. It’s important to us that our needs are heard when we leave Gracie with a dog sitter. Although we love lots of dogs we mostly feel comfortable having one dog visit our home with Gracie. That way there’s an adult to each dog when we go on walks and things like that.

Louise and Bill are wonderful sitters. Louise sent daily photos and made me feel secure knowing my 14-year-old dog was well taken care of each day. Her communication on drop-off/pick-up, etc., was excellent. Highly recommend!

Louise and William (and their sweet Gracie) welcomed Dharma into their home like she was a dear family member. They snuggled and pampered her, took long daily walks, and were there for her 24/7. We received regular updates and pictures and could easily see how relaxed and comfortable and happy our girl was in their care. The entire experience was perfect, and we look forward to future slumber parties for Dharma!
Louise and Bill took excellent care of our dog Sam. Their dog Gracie is very sweet, and Sam has a new friend now. They went for walks twice a day, sent messages and photos at least twice a day. Sam adjusted much sooner than we anticipated. We highly recommend Louise and Bill -.they are very kind and compassionate and we will definitely use them again. We could not have asked for a better experience!

We have a fenced yard and plenty of room for the dogs to play outside and inside throughout the day. We take our dog, Gracie, for a walk in the morning between 7 and 830 and in the evening before dark. We often go to the lake, on a hike or around various parks in the neighborhood. On the weekends we like to go in the evening and let her run on the beach. On leash. We also walk certain loops of streets in our neighborhood -which is perfect for dog walking.

A typical day
Daily walks, park or beach outings and playtime. We have a fenced yard and plenty of room for the dogs to play outside and inside throughout the day. We take our dog, Gracie, for a walk in the morning between 7 and 830 and in the evening before dark. We often go to the lake, on a hike or around various parks in the neighborhood. On the weekends we like to go in the evening and let her run on the beach. On leash. We also walk certain loops of streets in our neighborhood -which is perfect for dog walking.

Availability
Louise (me) currently works from home full-time (remote) for a tech company. I spend half the day cuddling with Gracie (or visiting pups), while at work- I’m available for all of their needs. Bill, my husband, also works from home as a project and construction manager. We both spend lots of times throughout the day with Gracie and any dog staying with us. We rarely go out at night and if we do it’s for short periods of time. If one of us goes out to do errands the other one is usually home.
