I pestered my mum to get me a cat at the age of 6, and have been around animals ever since. We had 3 cats when I was growing up and I've spent lots of time around both cats and dogs as an adult. As I spent 4 years living in a flat where I was not allowed a pet of my own, I jumped at every opportunity to cat or dog sit for friends and family, and also offered pet sitting/care via a different website. I know that the idea of a cattery or kennel can be far from ideal for some pet owners, so I offer boarding in my home. I know that some dogs are not happy being left alone for the evening. I am also able to provide evening care so you can enjoy a stress free evening out!

Louise looked after our Staffie, Pablo, over a long weekend. She took Pabs down to the beach, gave her ball chasing sessions in Gensing Gardens and gave her lots of cuddles back at her home. We got regular updates and photos. Pabs had a great time, and we loved having a worry free weekend away. Thank you, Louise!
Bo took to Louise instantly and clearly had a chilled evening! No photos because I accidentally left with her phone....sorry again and thanks for being so patient! Highly recommend Louise as she focused on Bo settling in and he was calm and happy with her.

You cat or dog will have the full run of my 2 bedroom flat, and is very welcome to sleep in the bedroom with me on the bed or floor/their bed. For cats: I do not have a garden, so the cat will be indoors during their stay. I would think that this could be reassuring as obviously being in a new area, it may not be ideal for them to venture out anyway! For dogs: I live in a flat, without a garden. I am able to take the dog outside regularly for exercise and doing their business. I live nearby to a park, and a short walk to the seafront. But please bare the lack of garden in mind for any bookings.

It would be really helpful to know about any medical conditions, or things to watch out for, whilst your pet is with me. To make their stay as enjoyable as possible, info on their routine, favourite toys, special quirks, would also be super useful.
A typical day
For cats: I work from home every day except Wednesdays, so (in between cat naps) I will be around for play time. There is a bed in my home office, which your cat can snooze on whilst I work, if they like company during the day. For dogs: I have a lovely park nearby, and am able to take dogs out for walks before and after work, and during my lunch break.

Availability
I work from home, so am always around for cuddles, strokes and play time. For cats: I can consider any length of booking but please note that I do go to the office on Wednesdays, so the cat(s) would be alone during the day one day per week. For dogs: Short bookings (avoiding Wednesdays) will work best as I go to the office on Wednesdays and won't be around for them on this day.
