Pet care experience
I’m from Scotland where I grew up with an English Springer spaniel who bounded with energy and lived to the grand old age of 17. Here in California we adopted our odd couple: our Golden retriever, Tess who is now 10 and Oscar, a 9 year old Maltese Shih Tzu. I have also taken care of a very old dog who needed regular medications for seizures and a puppy who needed to be socialized. I love that Pleasanton has so many great places to walk dogs and l can either walk at a very fast speed or a slow, sniffing pace depending on the needs of each dog. I don’t work outside the home and we have a good sized enclosed yard for dogs to explore.

Geeze Louise! Incredible dog sitter! Fantastic communication, thorough, compassionate, attentive, reliable and flexible. These are just a few of the great qualities I instantly saw in this awesome lady. My dog was so well taken care of that I felt guilty for taking my dog home!!! I have a senior dog that needs to be carried up and downstairs, gentle special love and care only mother can give and Louise did just that with my dog. Louise paid attentions to every little details and communicated to us during the day to ensure we know what shape he is in everyday. We can tell she really cares about my dog and that’s just hard to find...
Louise's family (including her 2 pups), were so inviting and our dog immediately felt at home. He lounged on the porches, took walks with the other dogs, and came home happy!

Information about their daily routine : walks, when they like to feed ( one sitting or grazing), do they like to poop / pee in certain places or will they go ‘on demand’? If a small dog, do they like to be picked up to be cuddled? Do they like the company of other dogs or prefer to be one on one? Do they like a fast , energetic walk or more interested in slowly sniffing their way round the park?
A typical day
My dogs get walked twice a day and we are very fortunate to have some great parks close by including Mission Hills, the Centennial Park and Bernal Community Park. Our back yard is safe and fun to explore and we have a large balcony off the kitchen where my dogs like to sunbathe and watch the world go by.
