****Prices have changed as of April 1st! I now run a dog daycare in Whitehorse and matching the prices so they are the same. Monday to Friday with your permission (and if you pick me) they come to daycare to meet the crew. If you would like more information please go onto Facebook and look up Sparkles and Lint Doggy Daycare. I have been on Rover now since 2021 and have looked after several hundred dogs. My partner Lukasz and I have looked after service dogs, dogs with disabilities (blind, tri-pawed) and even got to hang out with a cat or two. What brought us to the site was my love of animals and we have had our own Labrador for just over 6 years and he has definitely become part of the family. I’ve seen the high drive puppy stage (and survived), the teenage years and I have been fortunate to learn a lot through dog training classes although I am not a trainer, the experiences have taught me a lot! We walk in the morning, go to daycare Monday to Friday where this is constant supervision and even the most excitable dog will come back a little more mellow, walk after dinner and one more walk before bed. Exercise and engagement won't be an issue with us. We are very patient and will most definitely treat your 4 legged friend as if he or she were ours. So please let us know your specifications, we let dogs on the bed (when there is space) and on the couch but if this is something you are not comfortable with, please let us know. We do ask that any of our dogs come with a full history of vaccinations that are up to date and the owners are comfortable sharing that information with us.

My dog is a handful and Louise has been so great with him! It was great for him to burn off energy playing all day at daycare and be welcomed into her home at night.
We are so lucky that we found Louise! I feel like my pup Pete and I gained a new friend. Louise treated Pete like her own and kept me updated on his time under her care. He is happy and healthy, I highly recommend Louise.
Louise and Lukasz are pros, period. We are repeat customers and they always take amazing care of our anxious dog Fox. It's so great for us to have peace of mind when we have to travel!
Louise and Lukasz always takes amazing care of our dog Fox! We are regular repeat customers for a little over a year now, and we couldn't be happier. Fox is nervous and has some shelter trauma, but has now built a relationship with Louise and it's beautiful to see! Louise is very responsive, and super easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

I have a trail to the forest at my back garden. I do not have a fenced yard but dogs do not go outside unattended. We prefer having dogs crated in our absence but we do work with fur parents who leave their dogs loose and work on strategies to keep everyone safe. They are treated just like our dog (our dog is crated) and we let them on the sofa, we try to not let them on the bed. There isn't much space when you have a dog or two on the bed but they get to hang out wherever we are.

Please let me know if your dog has any allergies. It would also be great to know how their recall is when we go on walks. If your dog suffers from separation anxiety or struggles with other dogs, that's really important to let us know. As your dog will be around others let us know if there are any resource guarding things we need to know too.
A typical day
We are extremely fortunate to have the Porter Creek forest as our backyard. There are many trails we go along, in the Summer we go for hikes and have gone as far as the Sam McGee trail.

Availability
There is always one of us around, we run the daycare Monday to Friday and there is always Lukasz or myself there. On the weekend we make sure the dogs are exercised at least 4 times a day.
