Pet care experience
I am a loving, caring, fun loving and have passion for all animals. I have studied an HNC in Animal care at Oatridge College in Broxburn, which covered nutrition, first aid, health and disease, livestock, grooming, small animal handling, anatomy and physiology, animal behaviour, animal welfare and a wide variety of others. I own dogs, various small furries, horses, and reptiles, therefore I have experience with a vast variety of animals. On top of this I have experience working for the Scottish SPCA and have a great deal of knowledge around animal welfare. To me animals are like people, and deserve to be treated as so. My animals are all very important to me, regardless of their size, they are treated equally. All clients pets' will be loved and cared for as if they were my own. An animals happiness comes before mine - their needs will be my priority.
Reviews
Louise has regularly looked after my dog at weekends while I am away. The dog is happy to stay with her, go out for walks or play in the garden.
Louise is an animal lover like no other. I was put in contact with her through a mutual friend for watching my 11 year old Male cat Lennox whilst on holiday abroad for a fortnight last summer. Since then, Louise has kept in contact and looked after Lennox for me on an ad hoc basis particularly when working later evenings or away for a long weekend. Louise treats all animals as if they were a part of her own family, and tailors to their every need. She is reliable, flexible and keeps in contact which is a must for most pet owners. Would highly recommend.
Louise is great with all animals, from cats and dogs to small furries and exotics. She has her own experience as a dog owner, as well as a long history of working with animals which gives me the confidence to say that I cannot recommend her enough. I have had pet-sitters in the past who have allowed discipline and routine slide but Louise is dedicated to keep the norm, bonding with the dogs before any care offered, is organised and amazing at keeping dogs under control whilst having fun.
