Pet care experience
I have been on the BorrowMyDoggy app for about 3 years now and have taken care of various dogs varying from terriers to Dobermen! We have a dachshund as our family dog and I take care of him whenever my family requires. I have grown up with dogs since I was about 3 years old as my mum has a huge love for them as well. I grew up with a German Shepherd and a Dachshund. I am more than happy to go for walks as I do like to have any excuse to be active.

I have a communal outside area where I can take your pet for some outside time. There are a couple parks close-by. One of which is about a 10-15 minute walk away from me and is a great place to have a walk. I live in a flat that has two bedrooms and quite a large space in the hall and living area. We have taken care of a German Shepherd before and she seemed quite happy with the space.

Please do let me know about any behaviours your dog has so that I can be aware when I take care of them. For example if they are reactive or have anxiety in some situations.
A typical day
I will definitely take them for a walk to a park nearby. There is a lake and some horses so lots of smells for your dog to enjoy! I also love playing with them indoors and giving them lots of belly scratches and cuddles.

Availability
I work from home with no minimum required days for me to go into the office so I am very flexible. My work is also quite flexible and so I can definitely do lunchtime walks or take half an hour away from my desk to go for a walk. I live with my partner and he is also an animal lover, he will be able to help with the care of your pet as well as myself. We have a hamster in our house which we usually put in a room and shut the door if we have a dog round the flat so she doesn't get scared!
