Louisa H.
A girl who loves fuzzy little & big dogs!
Pet care experience
Ever since I was a little girl I have had a dog by my side back home. Since moving to University I have felt a massive gap in my life without a puppy-dog to tell all my fun adventures (& secrets) to! As I grew older I would begin to take more independent care of my dog as my parents would start going on holiday, providing to Blu (my dog) a stable routine, 3 walks a day and as many treats as the wee man would want! I spent 2 weeks this year looking after a young spaniel for a friend and found ways to keep a nervous and wired dog entertained and comfortable until he eventually became confident - not only with us but out on walks, exploring new places, trying new toys and engaging more with what we would ask.
Reviews
Louisa is great with Arthur who is a nervous older dog, and has really helped him continue to build his confidence by adjusting to his needs and encouraging him.

Safety, trust & environment
I treat every dog like my own. I would never dream of treating an animal - or person - any different to how I would want to be treated myself. Dogs are incredibly smart animals and I truly believe they reflect on their environment and act on such, because of this I would aim to be a confidence giver, a carer, and a friend to all dogs that I may look after. Most of the time I am sure I’ll probably appreciate the dogs company more than they’ll appreciate mine!!

I am currently a fourth year University student with a lot of free time needed in the sense of breaks from my heavy dissertation! I believe having a chance to go on a varied walk with company (aka dogs!) would be a great way for me to distract myself from books. As of this my schedule is quite flexible, meaning I can mould around others plans easily. As a more “mature’’ student I am not out partying every week and enjoy my down time which dog sitting and walking would be.
