Pet care experience
I have always had dogs in my life. From childhood until today. My best friend of ten years just passed in June. Now I have a new buddy! I have experienced all possible situations of being a pet owner. I have a big house with a spacious back yard perfect for dogs to play. I'm working on fencing in the entire yard but in the meantime I have multiple tie outs to ensure your pets comfort and safety. I live around the corner from a river trail which is perfect for long walks. I enjoy visiting the nearby dog park for long play sessions to ensure healthy exercise. I can attend to your dogs every need. I have much love and compassion for our furry four legged friends. I want you to be completely comfortable with your pup in my hands. I know it's a busy world we live in and having someone to care for your pooch when you can't be there is very reassuring.

Lou was able to take our dog on a quick notice which was very helpful. However, when we we dropped him off, Lou took him around back through a basement door and that was it. We didn’t think much of it at the time, but did think it was odd. Then, when we returned to pick him up, Lou couldn’t find his leash and offered us a different one at first. He went back to try and find the correct one and the encounter was very cold. The worst part was when we got home, our dog had a significant bite on the tip of his ear and a huge clot that we had to soak and treat. This was by far the worst experience we have had with Rover and I was so disappointed in how our dog was cared for. There was obviously an altercation, and either we were purposely not informed or Lou didn’t even know.
Everything with Lou communication wise was great. However, I informed Lou pre visit that my dog is on a completely raw diet. I provided the proper food pre-portioned for the duration of the visit and let him know she doesn't consume any kibble whatsoever. I picked her up last night and within an hour of getting home she was acting a bit off and then threw up inside. I now know why she was due to the pile of kibble she didn't digest. When asking Lou about this he proceeded to say she only ate raw but may have picked up a few pieces. Due to the size of the mess and amount of kibble you could clearly see this would be for a serving size or two. Extremely disappointed in the care for my dog and wouldn't recommend if you have any special requests.

Lou was great. He was easily accessible and flexible for both drop off and pick up. Piper was happy when we came back. Would use Lou again
