Experienced dog handler and trainer
Pet care experience
As a lifelong dog owner, I have been caring for dogs for over 40 years, when my parents adopted our first rescue. Starting at age 10, I began taking care of my neighbor's 7 poodles for the month of July. That job lasted five years and I always received a crisp $100 bill when they returned. I put myself through college as a veterinary assistant where I learned the proper way to hold animals and provide treatment. Since then, I have owned several dogs and trained my current rescue hound, Henry, to become certified through Therapy Dogs International. We volunteer with seniors and children on a regular basis. I am firm, but caring with every dog in my charge. I am available weekdays between 8 and 8.
