Pet care experience
I have raised dogs and cats since I was a child! Now, I have worked in the vet field for 1.5 years. I have experience both in clinical settings and through a kennel/daycare service. My professional experience, combined with my passion for animals, makes me a trustworthy sitter for all your pet needs. Walking, feeding, bathing, or just a presence for their comfort— I can do it all! :) My pronouns are they/he.
Reviews
Lou is the absolute best! Best dog walker in Syracuse. I love getting so many pictures of my puppy after each walk
Lou has been fantastic! He is very communicative and clear about when he is available. On top of that he is punctual and amazing with the dogs, who LOVE him.
Lou was wonderful! He was so helpful when we needed a last minute dog walker for a few days. I got so many great pictures and knew bailey was in good hands!
Lou was fantastic! We got lots of updates and pictures from their walks. We will definitely hire Lou in the future. Thanks so much!
About Lou C.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets by getting to know them first— reading their body language, talking with pet parents about their personalities, and learning what their needs are. From there, I can commit to meeting the Pet’s and the Pet Parent’s needs to my best ability. I use positive reinforcement and treats when applicable- but will always confirm any allergies/dietary restrictions before offering. Open communication with pet parents is my top priority!
Information Lou C. would like to know about your pet
I need to know any existing health concerns/conditions, general temperament history, and trigger(s) for reactivity. (if any) I would also love to know what your pets love and don’t love, so I can get to know them better!
A typical day
I know several dog-friendly parks with plenty of sniff spots! In addition, I love using positive reinforcement when working with all dogs. I am a strong believer in fear-free training. I am also happy to play fetch for hours, or just lounge around, if that is what your dog likes best. ♡
