Lorrayn, the neighborhood sitter!
Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I have experience taking care of cats, dogs, horses, pigs, chickens, so on and so forth. I also worked at an animal shelter so I have experience taking care of animals in a professional setting too! I am known to have an absolute passion working with animals and will treat any pet as if it were my own.
Reviews
Lorrayn did a wonderful job with our two boys. They were well taken care of, and our house was in great condition upon our return. With being gone so long (17 days), we were a bit concerned leaving our dogs with someone new, but our worries were unfounded. Highly recommend Lorrayn, and hope to utilize her services again.
Lorrayn was amazing for our pets. Our little chihuahua runs away from anyone that isn't us, and it was no different with Lorrayn, but she was able to get all of her needs taken care of and our cats needs to boot. I will definitely be hiring her again when we need pet sitting again!
Lorrayne was great! Very responsive and would send loads of pictures of our pups. Both house and the dogs were in great condition when we came back. 10/10 recommend!
Lorraine has been my "go to" for Pet sitting my for furry, kooky children for the past 3 years. I have an Old English Sheepdo, 2 English Bulldogs, and a princess Pug. All different personalities and energy levels and Lorrayn deals well with them all. In fact, my 2 bully babies have to be baby gates apart or they wight. Lorraynis able to give them equal attention and realizes the importance of their separation. She is responsible in walking them, feeding, playtime and attention. I couldn't ask for a better sitter and am grateful that I can go away and have peace of mind knowing they'll be happy and safe with Lorrayn.

Following proper care instructions you (the owner) has left me and ensuring all needs are taken care of. I can do anything that is requested. You want me to take your dog out for walks twice a day? You got it! You have a strict feeding schedule? Im on top of it! Weekly medicated baths? I’ll be there with the rubber ducky and soap! My priority is making sure both pet and owner feel secure in the care they are receiving.
Information Lorrayn M. would like to know about your pet
There is a range of general information that is important to know when taking on a new client! I need to know about medical issues, any behavioral issues, about preferred schedules, and any general rules! I have had my fair share of working with animals that required extra assistance. For example, the dogs i’ve owned through the years. The first one, my Jack, was minorly dog aggressive and needed to be introduced to other dogs in a certain way to know that there is no danger. Jack was a good dog even through his poor behaviors, I miss him everyday. And my current dog, Marshall, he’s very excited meeting new animals. He barks and pulls and can’t seem to get his attention off of any other animal once he seems them. He really wants to play but has issues with other living things being on him so we’ve been working on his behavior while also trying to find him a non-jumping furry friend. I’ve had personal contact with dogs considered aggressive and even closer contact with a dog who had idiopathic aggression, where he had taken a good bite of my cheek. It was scary, I was just learning and it brought me further on how to handle other serious situations if one were ever to arise. These are just personal examples and I understand the stress of taking care of an animal with special care; I’ll just be around to provide care while you take your time away! I would also like to include a disclosure that while I am familiar with animal behavior, I am not qualified to diagnose or train dogs with specific behavioral conditions. Looking into my experience is more of intern/assistant work.
A typical day
I love to make sure everyone’s pet is as pampered as you prefer! I can play for hours and walk for even longer. In the general area i’m located, there’s lots of fun and stimulating things to do for dogs and can provide their general access to it! I also love exploring and finding new things to do so even if you’re area is new to me, I’m sure I can figure out exactly what to do to provide a full fun day!
Services
Lorrayn can watch in your home
Availability
I work part-time, do school, and occasional pick up some Rover clients. Or staying with my previous Rover contacts and personal contacts for dog sitting. These hours allow more flexibility so I can be available when needed for any type of service; whether it be a stay-sit or a general check-in, I’ll be there!
