Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats most of my life. I was a veterinary tech before I went to college to get my degree in medical assisting and certification as a surgical tech. So if your pet requires medication or treatments I am able to administer medication. I grew up in a rural area in Southern California with goats and chickens and my grandfather’s horses. Our family currently have a mini Goldendoodle (Nugget) and a bearded dragon (Mushu). I have teenagers that have helped care for a family cat that needed insulin and dog that is blind. They are good helpers and will give lots of extra attention and playtime you your pet. Our pets are great with other animals even cats. (Yes our beardie and puppy get along) So if it’s belly rubs, a walk, a bath, working on commands or insulin injections I got you covered.

Lorraine has several years of experience caring for pets. Her dog gets along with our dogs very well and is very well trained and behaved, as well as loved and cared for to the highest degree. I would trust her with my animals at any time. She also has experience with cats and has a beautiful bearded dragon.

I only take my Nugget out on a leash. Your baby would be treated like my own and only taken out on a leash unless in the fenced play area in my back yard.

Things I would like to know is how your dog in a thunderstorm, how that are when first put in their crate. How does you dog tell you they need to go outside to go potty?
A typical day
We go on walks and play in the waker in the kiddie pool I have out back. I usually take a few minutes after a walk with Nugget when he is calm to work on commands with health Zuke’s treats and lots of praise. We are working on stay as I walk away and go upstairs at the moment, he is actually doing quite well. On a nice day we love the dog park. But Nuggets favorite is the beach he loves the water.

Availability
Open to do weekends from Friday evening to Sunday evening and do drop in care or pet sitting at my home. During the week at my home would give your pet more attention. But during the week I can do 3 times a day drop in.
