Pet care experience
I have spent most of my life around animals, and have worked with them professionally for nearly two decades. My family welcomed our first dog, a 140lb Golden Retriever, when I was just four years old. Since then, I have cared for a variety of my own companion animals, including cocker spaniels, pit bulls, mastiffs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, chinchillas, birds, lizards, and fish. My professional experience includes working at boarding facilities, veterinary clinics, pet stores and wildlife centres. I have worked with many individuals and organizations in the local animal care and veterinary community. While I enjoy working with all animals, I have a special affinity towards big dogs, oversized cats, and ducks.

We were scrambling to find pet care for our somewhat reactive dog and our cats after having our sitter cancel on us. We were blessed to have found Lorna and couldn’t be happier with her care. She stayed in our house for three weeks and took amazing care of our pets as well as our house! We would definitely recommend Lorna to everyone in need of pet care!
Lorna was great - I met with her twice prior to having her drop in on my dogs. The picture updates were great, and the dogs seemed to enjoy the time with her based on the pictures. Always a peace of mind to know they are doing good with any dog sitter ☺️
