My name is Lorin and I love caring for animals! I am currently a cat owner of a beautiful calico, Sadie, and a cuddly tabby, Bobbie. When I was younger, our family had a beagle named Snuffy - short for Snuffleupagus, (yes, from Sesame Street). I enjoyed taking care of him throughout the years and both pets introduced me to the love and friendship of animals. My neighbors throughout school were always asking me to care for their homes and pets. Rover has allowed me to expand that support even more. Along with giving the utmost care, I have experience with animals that are suffering from anxiety and experience providing oral or natural medication for dogs and cats. I am also a huge advocate of species-appropriate diets and homeopathic remedies -- feel free to ask me about them, but I won't judge or proselytize, promise! While I petsit, I am happy to check the mail, take out the trash, and water plants on request. *On another note, the book, "The Art of Racing in the Rain" has a special place in my heart and if you have not read it - I highly recommend it for dog lovers. It's now even a movie (which I haven't seen yet, tbh)! In my personal life, I recently graduated with my teacher's degree from the University of North Texas. Go Eagles - ca-caw!
