Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs, cats, and various other animals since I was around 8 years old. This includes walking, feeding, medication administration (including insulin shots for cats), nail trimming, bathing, and training basic skills. I love working with animals and playing on their level!

Lorin is a great dog sitter! She spends time making sure my dog has the space to play and rest. She is a great communicator to ensure I am always in the loop!
I'm pretty sure my dog, Chewie, is more excited to see Lorin show up than me. She's incredibly loving and also maintains great boundaries with him. In the past I've had sitters that could be a little too accommodating and I'd have some issues later, so it's a great relief to have someone that Chewie loves that I can count on to not spoil him (at least not too badly)

In my own home, I have one cat whose name is Tofu, 8yo, neutered. I adopted him in 2021 when he weighed 24lbs and through a commitment to dieting and extra play, he has lost 7lbs. Due to his diabetes, I am comfortable with providing injections and other medicines.

A typical day
I like to tailor the activities I do with each pet based on what their person tells me about them. From walks to games of fetch to training tricks to snuggling on the couch, I’m open to their unique interests and meeting them where they are!
