Pet care experience
I just lost my 11 year-old Rescue MinPin named ChiChi. So there’s a major gap in my schedule and home. I have a ton of love to give a dog right now but it’s just too soon to consider adopting again. I thought pet sitting would be a great way for me to cope with missing her and make some money too. Our new old home is in Rosemont. We don’t have a fenced yard but I drive a Jeep and love to walk the area beaches. There is nothing more wonderful than a dog running on a beach! I’ve never met an animal I don’t love, and they seem to know it too! I just returned from a tropical vacation where the wild birds visiting our balcony ate out of my hand.

I think it’s pretty important for the dog to meet me! But no, I don’t have any breed preferences. I will say that even the most fearful or aggressive dogs usually warm up to me.
A typical day
I’m fairly new to the area and still learning about all the great hikes and trails nearby, but I adore Willard Beach and it’s a primary reason for us moving to Portland.
