Pet care experience
My grandparents ran a very reputable boarding kennel as I was growing up and they were also trainers, so I've been around dogs my whole life. I've been involved with all aspects of dog rescue (including hands-on shelter work for about four years), but I've mostly focused on fostering and transporting the past decade. I currently have four spoiled dogs of my own, and I’ve been a dog owner for 22 years. I'm also comfortable with cats and I’ve cared for them several times in the past when families have gone on vacation.

It only makes me sad we didn’t find Lori sooner. It’s helpful to have someone so consistent, who knows what info I want while I’m away (lethargy, eating patterns, and ear trouble). Kind enough to always bring in my packages and in the off chance Mavis has knocked over the trash can going after some chicken, Lori is so thoughtful to pick it up to ensure she doesn’t get in there. I have Lori come by a few days a week to make sure mavis gets plenty of play and interaction and Lori is the right gal for the job. Thanks Lori!
Love when Lori is available to help with Mavis. She takes care of things I don’t even know I needed done and probably loves Mavis as much if not more than I do. Will have her back anytime!
Lori is consistent with her visits and interactive with my cat to make sure she gets enough exercise. Always pleasant to communicate with and flexible!
Lori is great with weekly drop ins for the cat to get a little play time before I get home (sounds silly but very helpful as she’s a bengal). She’s kind enough to bring it packages and communicates when she has noticed changes with my best girl. Cat recently sat in the window to say bye when she left because she loves Lori so much. Will continue to have her back!

I have a 6-foot privacy fence for my dogs, but we do not leave them out unsupervised. I would show the same care in a client's home. Also, I can guarantee that I would be overboard with safety/escape precautions, as I’ve had experience with runners/bolters.

I'm only available from 3:30-10 p.m. until May 25. Then, from May 25 to Aug. 5, I'll be available for check-ins any time of the day.
