I’ve always had this keen ability to connect with people and animals, and many of my friends consider me an empath. Over the years, I’ve developed a sixth sense when it comes to interacting with dogs in particular. I’m a former nanny and a mental health professional specializing in behavioral dynamics. Now I’m pursuing a life in the arts making stuff and playing music while caring for animals. Being a freelancer, I have a very flexible schedule and am adaptable to every situation. I’ve been a lover of dogs and nature all my life. Growing up, my family had all sorts of breeds from Chihuahuas to Golden Retrievers. Back east in North Carolina, I volunteered at a shelter called Brother Wolf as well as a horse farm called Heart and Hoof. Now I live in Santa Monica with my wonderful husband and our little Pomeranian named Biscuit. He may be small in stature, but he has a huge, friendly personality and gets along with everyone he meets. My husband is also a crazy dog lover and we are in a band together. We are a happy little family and we are always open to new members, however brief our time together may be. People are always surprised that I’m not a native Californian because I’m super laid-back and absolutely adore the beach. I am outdoors as much as possible, whether it’s jogging along the water or finding hiking trails around Los Angeles. Life is too short to take things seriously. I enjoy the humorous side of life and can be a bit of a prankster from time to time––but in the gentlest, corniest way. Karma and carpe diem are two tenets I live by. I feel we’re all at our best when we’re grounded in kindness, joy, and love. I am always striving to be a better person, dog mom, wife, friend, artist, neighbor, and citizen. There is so much turmoil in our world, I want to do my small part by offering you peace of mind when you and your beloved pup are temporarily separated. I’m always calm under pressure and the safety and happiness of your dog will always be my highest priority. As I mentioned, I have this ability to connect deeply with animals, especially our canine friends. Besides making music and spending quality time with dogs, I also love to stay fit and cook. My husband, Biscuit, and I love to host dinner parties for our friends or dine out and try all the amazing cuisine available to us here in LA. Our time on this planet is fleeting and precious––so why not put our best food forward?
