I love dogs and dogs love me! I have over two decades of experience as a rural dog owner, including working with dogs with behavior difficulties. I have watched too many episodes of the "Dog Whisperer" to recount. All of this has helped make me a pretty strong pack leader. I also have 5 years of experience as a veterinary technician, so if any problems arise, I am great with dog triage. I am a nurse who moved to Portland last spring to attend an acupuncture school, so this would be a great part time job for me - I need the exercise as well! I own awesome rain gear and am fine walking in inclement weather. I will treat your dog with all the love and care he/she deserves!

We'd highly recommend Lori for dog care. She was great with our two dogs (who can be a little difficult at times) and we appreciated her experience and great communication while we were gone.
Lori seems to have a (not so secret) love affair with my dog, Otto and it goes both ways. They enjoy spending long, leisurely hours walking on the trail, sitting by the river and gazing into each others eyes. It's true. They adore one another. There is nobody I would trust more to care for my precious pooch than Lori.
I have known Lori and her dogs for decades. She has always taken very good care of her dogs. She made sure her dog Grace got a good walk in the woods even when she was busy with nursing school. She is a very responsible person and I would certainly trust her to take good care of my dog.
