I have been caring for and rescuing animals since I was a child and am have been employed as an Assistant Vet Tech. I have five fur babies of my own: Max, an AmStaff that we adopted from our son, who suffers from some anxiety since he has been "rescued" several times resulting in several moves and owners; then there is Dallas, who I inherited when my dad passed away, he is just the most lovable and silly dog I have ever met. All my dogs are disciplined through positive reinforcement, I do not believe in yelling or hitting. I also have three cats Paulix and Sage are brother and sister Tabby cats and Luci-furr, a gray cat, who "reached out" to me from her cage at the pet store. She was found as a kitten and put up for adoption at the local pet store and has become the character of the family.
