As far back as I can remember, I always loved animals. I grew up with cats, starting at the age of 5. I rescued my first fur babies, Buffy and Angel, 8 years ago and recently adopted another family member – a kitten named Sweet Dee. I have experience working in an animal shelter, as well as pet sitting and dog walking. Whatever your pet needs, that’s what I’m here for! I would love to schedule meet & greets so we can find out more about each other and your pet before we take the next step. I can’t wait to meet your fur baby and give you the peace of mind knowing that your loved one is in good hands.

As a pet parent myself, I understand that your pet’s wellbeing is what’s most important. I’m a reliable caretaker and I’ll always look after them as if they were my own. Besides providing fresh food and water, and cleaning litter boxes and other pet messes, they’ll also get plenty of playtime, good walks, back scratches and belly rubs. I’m here to become a friend for your fur baby and provide them with a relaxing and fun time whenever you’re away from home. I live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood in a single-family home and have a large, fenced backyard for your dog to explore around and enjoy during the day. There are also great walking trails nearby with beautiful views of the Potomac River. I have two cats and a 2-year-old daughter at home with me all day, so your pup must be good with animals and kids if you're interested in my doggy day care services. I want to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone who stays in my home. I also have two sons (4 and 6 years old) who love dogs and come home from school after 4 pm each day.

A typical day
Depending on your dog's personality and requirements, we can do play time in your backyard, casual walks around the neighborhood or stimulating exercise on a walking trail. And whether your cat is shy and just wants basic needs met, or wants lots of extra love and attention, I'm more than happy to accommodate in any way that makes them comfortable and satisfied while respecting their space and respecting your home. I will also send plenty of photos to give you peace of mind! If your dog stays with me during the day, they will have supervised access inside my home and outside in my secure backyard. For more exercise, we can go for walks around the neighborhood or along the scenic walking trails nearby.

Availability
I’m a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule, with the most availability between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm each weekday. Since I’m home the majority of the day, I can spend as much time with your pet as needed! I also have some flexibility regarding weekends and holidays with enough advanced notice.
