Growing up my family always had dogs. And now my own family has cats (long story, but my husband and I adopted cats when we lived in a city apartment). I am comfortable with taking care of them and treating them like my own, I thought that this would be a great way to help people out, now that I am not working much and my kids are growing up! Currently I am visiting my sister and helping her out with her new puppy. And I know how challenging it can be to find someone to help out when you have to be away from your pets, for vacation or work. I work as a substitute teacher and I recently left a part time job at a medical office, so my time is very flexible. My youngest (of 4) still needs me to take her to/from school and to some practices, but I can make most schedules work depending on your pet's needs! I will always follow your pet care instructions. In my opinion, pets find comfort in their routines and schedules. And I am more than happy to send you reports and photos so you feel comfortable leaving your buddies in my care.
