Your Dog Is My Only Job!
Pet care experience
I’ve been a lifelong dog lover, and I just want to see every pooch in the world be happy! I know how important they are to us since they give us so much love and happiness. That’s why it’s always been a mission of mine to give back to them in whatever way I could. They give so much, so it’s really wonderful to be able to help them out when their owners are away. That’s why being a dog sitter is a dream come true for me! Not only do I get to take care of pups, I get to provide owners with peace of mind while they’re not with their pooches. Although I’ve been a lifelong dog lover, my experience with pups hasn’t just been related to owning. When I was young, I grew up with Weimaraners, Chesapeakes, labs, Beagles, and Cockers. I loved the array of pups that I could interact with and learned so much from them! As an adult, I was a hospice foster for DFW Pug Rescue for 10 years. Watching pups transition into their forever families was such a great experience, I really loved every minute of my volunteer service. Since then, as a professional walker and sitter, I’ve walked and taken care of everything from 4 pound Chihuahuas to 120 pound Akitas. I can do it all! When taking on a new client, I always like to schedule a meet-and-greet. That way, we can all make sure that we’re a good fit for one another. Plus, it’s a great opportunity to chat face-to-face with owners about their care expectations. I have lots of questions for dogs and their owners, so it’s wonderful being able to talk in person about what makes your pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I always get down on their level and let them know that I’m a friendly presence. I’m sure we’ll become fast friends in no time at all. We live in a three-bedroom house in Presidential Glen. Our back yard is fenced in, so everyone is safe when getting their zoomies out! It’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon napping in a sunbeam. The neighborhood is quiet, and provides a safe place for walks, too. There are lots of great places to go locally, so we will never be at a shortage of great things to do!

Our pups were happy and cheerful when we got home which is always a good sign that they were loved and cuddled while we were gone. Lori came at the scheduled drop in time and sent us good communication and pictures of her visit with our three pups. Looking forward to her helping us out in July too!
Lori and Michael were great! You can really tell they care about dogs and want to get to know each dog’s unique personality. Our pups had a playful and fun filled weekend. Definitely would recommend!
Our dog can be shy at first and Lori was great at being attuned to his nervousness. He came out of his shell and loves playing with the other dogs. He comes home tired and happy.
Lori & Michael are the best! I love that they have dog knowledge to share and my pups definitely seemed to have enjoyed their walk cause they are now passed out and happy!

A typical day
When your pup is under my care, the world will be our oyster! Dog sitting is a full-time job for me, so your pup will be the beneficiary of love, attention, and cuddles around the clock. That makes me a great fit for dogs that are used to having a human presence around them during the day, because I’ll be there to make sure they are as happy as can be! My neighborhood has plenty of wonderful things to do, so we’ll always be able to head out and get tons of walks whenever we want. But I’m also happy to meet your pup at their level, no matter what it is! Whether it’s lots of high-energy playtime to just cuddling together on the couch reading, I’m there for them.
