Over 35 years of experience with large breed dogs. Show dogs, water training, draft training. My own dogs in the past have been CGC certified and also took part in educational programs teaming with young children to help improve with their disabilities. Back in the early 90’s I had my own pet sitting service offering dog walking and drop in home visits. I also worked with dolphins and sea lions for 6 wonderful years. I have had dogs with knee injuries, heart defect, cushings disease and epilepsy. I have a lot of patience and understanding for special needs.

I’ve known Lori for a very long time, super nice lady all my dogs have loved her, she is great with all my pets, it’s very important for me to know how good and gentle she is, and my dogs and other pets have loved her. Highly recommend her, she has a beautiful home clean, she’s the best.whenever I go on vacation I know I can trust her and very reliable.
Lori is a very trustworthy, patient person and has always taken very good care of her pets and other peoples pets. I have always said “if I die and become reincarnated as a dog, I would want Lori to be my owner”.
You can absolutely trust Lori with your pet. I have known her for over 40 years. She is trustworthy, cautious and reliable. She loves animals but has a certain talent for dogs. She can train a dog to knit a sweater :) She is the only person I trust with my little fur babies.

My in home family lifestyle is very calm and low key. I am married to a “Santa” looking man who also adores dogs but he works out of the home full time. Dogs under my care should be comfortable being around an older man with a big white beard. I specialize in large breed senior dogs that have had socializing and who are house trained. I will only take in 2 dogs at a time for long term stays or 3 dogs for day care visits. Never over a total of 3 dogs . This ensures your dog is getting my full attention. Outside playtime is always supervised with exercise and things your dog enjoys. On hot summer day’s time is limited to shorter playtime in the later afternoon when temps hit the high 80s. Your dog will be part of my family household and will be kept inside with many potty and water breaks. All dogs will sleep inside at night. Sorry, No pee pad trained dogs or known furniture chewing behavior will be tolerated. All pets under my care are to show proof of vaccinations for the health of all dogs under my care. I also request a meet and greet prior to booking your dog. I also ask that your dog be groomed and free of matting so I am able to do a health check.

I'd like to know what quirks they may have, stressors, anxiety. Also known health conditions. Example my dog does not do well with beeps and certain chimes from cell phones, it sends him into a panic. He also suffers from arthritis. Let me know as much as you can so I can make staying in my home a positive experience.
A typical day
I like to keep it fun with games your dog enjoys. So please share what your dog likes to do. Your dog will be only on my property and not taken to parks, major walks. I have everything your pet needs at my home. I cater to large breed senior dogs.
