Pet care experience
Over 30 years of experience caring for dogs and cats. With the recent loss of my two husky shepherd rescues, Meleigha 15 & Cali 17, I find myself ready to open my home for sleepovers, walks and visits. I raised both my girls from puppies and they lived long, healthy and enriched lives. At the same time, I raised 4 cats until the last of my cat crew passed away in 2022. I have extensive experience with seniors and those with medical needs so please don't hesitate to reach out. Whether it's walking the neighbourhood, hiking a trail, playing fetch, relaxing on the couch or watching the squirrels in my fully fenced shady backyard, I'm happy to work with all energy levels. I've been called the bestest dog and cat mom and I am well respected by my vet friends, pet parent friends and neighbours.

It is extremely important to communicate the needs of your family pet, whether it is a fear of cars or is uncomfortable when you touch their feet or tail. I would be asking for veterinary information and any allergies as well.
A typical day
I enjoy walking and hiking, so a typical day would be planning a hike in a local park or conservation area or may travel to a trail outside of the city for a change. On those not so wonderful weather days, I give massage, play with toys, hide treats or visit with neighbours.

I work from home full time in a quiet pet friendly community with access to parks and trails. I have a flexible schedule most days and I am free most weekends.
