I am a recently retired veterinary internal medicine specialist that has relocated to Florida with my husband and 2 beagles. It has literally been my job to care for dogs and cats over the past 25 years so I have the knowledge to keep your pet safe and know the signs to look for should there be a problem with your pet.

Keeping pets safe is of paramount importance to me. Things such as a fenced yard, attention to open doors/gates, and awareness of environmental factors such as heat, storms, etc are just a few things that I consider when keeping pets safe.

Let me know if there are any quirks or behaviors I need to be aware. For example, our male beagle loves to bay when we see other dogs or he gets on a scent so we try to avoid certain situations so we don’t annoy the entire neighborhood!!!
A typical day
Love walking the neighborhoods and letting the dogs check their “peemail”. Lots of throwing the ball if dogs are a fan of ball (one of ours is not!). Swimming if they like it! I also have lots of dog puzzles for mental stimulation.
