Hi, I’m Lori and have over 20 years of of dog caretaking experience. Grew up with dogs, and then did dog sitting and walking throughout college. Experience with both high energy and senior doggies. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover since the age of 7 when our family adopted an Australian Shepherd named Blue. Truly love taking care of dogs, it gives me so much joy. About my yard We have a medium sized backyard which is fenced with enough room for some running + playing.

Lori was the best! She took care of my frenchie poodle Shima like her own and sent the most detailed and wonderful updates daily. My boy was given so much love with daily walks, playing fetch in the yard and sun bathing by the porch. Lori is really meticulous about Shima’s daily routine and I was really grateful for that! Felt very fortunate to have found such a kind home for my baby to stay while i was away, put my mind at ease that Shima was in very capable hands. Would definitely recommend her !
Lori and family were very attentive to my corgi Maple. She was played with a lot, went on multiple walks a day, and enjoyed sun bathing in the yard. I appreciate the care and all of the photos Lori sent us. Would recommend pet sitting with Lori! Thank you!

Frequent potty breaks and opportunities for play and exercise is a given. Our family dog Toby passed away last winter so we have lots of dog friendly items that he left behind. A soft crate, bed, toys etc. And a lovely porch for sunbathing.

Just a brief history and any behavioral challenges, such as aggressiveness, potty training updates etc. We have a 3 year old dog lover so dog should be comfortable around a child.
A typical day
Getting outside for a walk to our local park and then lots of play or quiet snuggles, depending on the age/needs of the dog. Walks every 2- 4 hours or more, if needed. Your dog's sleeping arrangement In a comfy dog bed, or a covered couch. A soft crate is also available if that is helpful. Time I'll spend with your dog I'm flexible but somewhere around 4-8 hours a day.

Availability
Currently taking care of my 4 y/o child but have more time as he is starting preschool. Will have mornings available for walking/ cuddling / playing. And then additional availability in the afternoon for walks and whatever else is needed.
