Pet care experience
I was born and raised in a family that always had pets; mostly an assortment of wonderful dogs and we also took care of birds, rabbits, turtles and fish. My parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins were also raised with a mindset that our pets are indeed a special and unique part of the family. Dogs are my personal favorite animals, if I had to choose. I learned early on as a young girl about responsibility, being playful, caring, showing compassion, and kindness to animals. In addition to taking care of my family’s pets, I also cared for neighbors pets, friends’ pets, and strangers’ pets. It’s been through those experiences that I gained varied levels of knowledge and appreciation for the furry family members throughout the years.

My animals practically flocked to her whenever she visited, even the cat... and the cat doesn't usually like people! We have two dogs and a cat, the dogs were following her around like they never get attention, leaning up against her in the rare moments she didn't have a hand on them. I've had a long time friend (I'm talking 20 years of "knowing" this person) come over and my dog wouldn't stop barking at him, I thought it was weird, the guy and I aren't friends anymore, but this made me really see how my pups get vibes from people. I trust my dogs and they absolutely adored Lori. I would have no problem having her watch any of my animals. I've seen her in action with her family pets , she talks to them and treats them like they're little people, it's lovely to see. I have no doubt she would treat any animal in her care as if it were her own.
Whenever my husband & I are required to be away from home on business we know the anxiety for our three little ones will be greatly minimized if we are able to have Lori come and be with them in our absence. She comes in the door and is greeted with jumping and barking as she has calls each one by name and lavishes them with affection. We enjoy the peace of mind having Lori stay with our three brings. The transition of our return home is seamless. Perhaps it is the two of us who have suffered the greatest separation anxiety! We walk in the door and our home is in the same clean condition as it was before we left and our three little guys are blissfully pampered. While I would love to keep Lori all to ourselves, I whole heartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful care giver for their fur babies.
Lori loves animals and they love her. She took care of my cats and dogs so that I could travel several times in recent years. She took care of the usual water and food on schedule. Cuddling and walking the dogs happened daily and I even got pictures while I was gone. She was calm and affectionate with all of my animals and kept them on their routines. It made coming home to my little ones a big surprise for everyone.
I would highly recommend Lori for anything to do with caring for animals. She’s so sweet with my bird and absolutely adores her Mom’s dogs. She loves animals! To her they are special, important and she is very patient with them. I have known her for almost 30 years.
