Hi! I'm Lori, born and raised in the Midwest ( Iowa). After living 16 years in California, I followed my heart during the pandemic and moved to Phoenix to be with my now husband Matt. I've grown up around dogs and have watched dogs of all shapes and sizes for the last 10+ years for friends and family. We now have our own dog, his name is El Dorado a 2 year old golden doodle and we have never been more in love with something furry! I trained him since he was 8 weeks old to listen to specific commands and to be a well behaved young man 🐶 . I'm patient and calm but also like to help get their energy out through activity and play. My husband and I are both very active and LOVE being outside, we like to say we are "solar powered". Hiking is one of our favorite activities. Where we go the dogs go, if approved by everyone's parents :) I will treat your dog like I treat mine with lots of LOVE, attention and cuddles.

Lori was all that we could ever ask for in a dog sitter! So kind, patient, communicative, and easy to work with. She took our pup on daily hikes and gave her so much love that I think Lola was pretty bummed to leave! Lots of photos and updates, making the whole experience a total joy. I can stop by your house and keep your dog / dogs comfortable in their own environment. OR I can bring them to my house, which has a large fenced in big backyard that is half grass half gravel. Water bowls are always full and the treat closet is always loaded up with the best variety of flavors. Did I mention our cool golden doodle that will be the best play buddy for your dog. Trust and love is the key foundations at our house. We want all dogs and humans to always feel welcome and at home with us.

Let me know if your dog has special needs or a particular routine I need to stick too. I like to keep dogs as close to their everyday routine/schedule as possible so its an easy transition for you and your dog when you are away.
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. I enjoy going to the 3rd Ave dog park for some socializing. Coronado Park and Encanto park are my favorite spots to play hours of fetch and training. Walks are also a must, either around the neighborhood, around the park and along the canal if the weather is permitting. South Mountain is one of our favorite hikes with dogs during the fall/winter time frame. We avoid busy peak hike times and prefer when there’s not many people around so we can enjoy the trail to ourselves and the dogs can have a sense of freedom.

Availability
I go for daily walks/runs first thing in the am. The dogs will always join me if permission is given. I currently work as a freelance designer from home, meaning I’m flexible to play and give attention at anytime through out the day.
