SUPERIOR CARE -Responsible R.N.

Pet care experience

Patient and caring. 30 years experience with animals. Have had several in my home and have house sat with several dogs. Will ensure dogs physical safety at all times and will make sure they are not endangered by other animals. Will report all relevant information to the owners immediately. Will follow special instructions or limitations that owners provide. Had dogs growing up and as an adult. Love to walk and play with dogs. Registered nurse 18 yrs, will provide a safe & happy place for your dog. Experience with many dogs breeds. Trusted and reliable with providing the proper medication. Safe and adequate attention to each dog. Able to provide references if needed. Able to take dog for a car ride if they enjoy that. Currently off from my nursing duties. Available any day of the week and very flexible for dog sitting. Occasionally working Tuesday and Wednesday- Ask me. The community that I live in doesn't allow pitbull, rottweiler, doberman, Pit bull terriers, Cane corsos, husky-pitbull mix, mastiff-pit bull mix, and Doberman-pitbull mix. Therefore I will not be able to accept those breeds. I live 300 yards away from a dog park. I own a manufactured home in a gated community with small yard. I have 2 screen rooms before entering my home which prevents your dog from running out the door. Able to walk or run your dog as often as you want me to.

Thank you for taking care of Illy yesterday. She was a wonderful pet sitter. We will definitely visit her again!

Lori was our hero when we brought our elderly dog with us on our trip to Orlando. We wanted to bring Bentley because he has many health issues and we didn’t want to leave him at a boarding facility. We used one girl the first day we were there and she didn’t really update us throughout the day and also let Bentley get into the food she ordered for herself, which is bad for him due to his illnesses. LORI was the next Rover sitter we found and we were pleasantly surprised to receive photos of Bentley throughout the day as well as come back to the hotel to a happy Bentley and a written log of everything Lori and Bentley did together at what times they did them (ex. - 8:45a breakfast time, 9:15 potty break, 10:20 tug-of-war, 10:45 nap, 11:30 20 min walk around hotel (too hot outside), etc etc…). We were able to spend a few very fun days at the parks and felt so comfortable leaving Bentley to be cared for by Lori at the hotel. Lori also has the sweetest personality, and we still keep in touch months later. We are hoping Bentley lives long enough to make it to Orlando with us in a few months because I know he will be so happy to see his buddy Lori. Thank you!!!

Our dog adored Lori and we were so thankful for her kind and welcoming personality. We enjoyed our vacation and loved getting happy pics of our pooch throughout the day and hearing her stories of their time together!

A typical day

I can walk your dog with a leash or take them to dog park to run off leash. We can play tug-o-war, fetch, and engage in meaningful play. I will keep your dog busy and entertained to occupy its body and mind. Can have play inside or outside. Please provide plenty of familiar toys and games that might make your pet more comfortable. Also please bring a personal article of clothing. Research has shown scents from humans that dogs are familiar with activate a part of their brain that is associated with positive expectations. With that in mind, leaving behind something that can remind your dog of YOU may help ease their anxiety while you're out of the town and the dog is with someone else.
