We have met many wonderful dogs over the past year in our home. We love each one like they are our own. It takes a new dog in a strange house the first night to relax and settle down and we assure them that mom/dad are coming back. Because of the transition, we are only sitting for current client-dogs and only taking referrals. Referrals can read on...... Woof! We are Lori and Mark! If you're looking for loving and experienced dog sitters, you have come to the right place. We both grew up with dogs and have extensive training experience. When Lori was a teen, she raised and trained an AKC show dog, along with her family pet dog and loved it! Mark has 10 years experience working with and training large dog breeds. Together, we have worked with a German Shepherd Rescue for over 16 years, fostering everything from very young puppies to mature dogs. We have also helped dogs of various other breeds find homes. Lori is a local real estate agent and works out of the house while Mark's schedule varies. With two teenagers, someone is usually home to spend time with the animals. The dogs are inside/outside and always have someone to play with or snuggle & cuddle. Daily walks are the family routine and we would love to include your dog on our adventures. We are great sitters because we innately love dogs. We can't help it. We baby, love, cuddle, talk to and play with them. Our vet always remarks that our dogs have wonderful coats. Great coats are a result of a dog being well fed and loved. We no longer foster dogs, but we want to help other dog lovers have the confidence to go on vacation. With us, you would be leaving your dog with someone who would care for them like their own. Not all dogs like to stay in an environment that keeps many dogs at the same time, or in a caged pen. We realize that when your dog is away from you, they have some level of anxiety, fear and the experience can be scary. We remove all of that.
