For the last 3 years dogs have been a huge part of my life. Getting my first puppy, a minigoldendoodle, was a life changing experience. I loved spending every minute with him and he became my best friend. We walked in our neighborhood and made friends for both of us. We went to the dog park and other parks daily for exercise and social interaction. Our small local dog park has the feel of a close knit community. We all love each other’s dogs and watch out for each other. We made many close friends. Cody made a best friend. I play with all the dogs— run with them, play ball with them. I love each and every dog for their own uniqueness. And all dogs are full of light and love. I am an experienced pet sitter, babysitter, mother and grandmother of 4. I consider myself a nurturer and am very young at heart. I love playing with dogs and taking care of them. I also trained my dog to behave very very well in all situations. For example when I took him off leash in a safe desolate area he always checks in with me to see how far he can go. I use YouTube videos mostly by Zac George. I feel I have very natural intuition and abilities to handle different situations that may arise with each dog. |

Lori was great with our Shih Tzu and super flexible with what we needed and how we treat our baby. She also is quite willing to move things around in her schedule to accommodate your requests when she can. We would definitely recommend her to folks that want a real animal lover when you need it most looking after their pet.

My apartment complex is situated in a rustic environment perfect for walking dogs. There’s lots of grass, trees and paths and a bit of terrain. There’s a dog run with exercise equipment for the dogs to play with. The dog park is 8 minutes away if anyone needs long term care. I have had several dogs sleep at my apartment for single or multiple days. They must be well trained and well behaved. I am available to walk your dog at your home too.

A typical day
Where I live there are numerous paths full of grass, trees, and stone walls. It’s just beautiful here, very rustic and there are many dogs around. There’s a dog run with exercise equipment for active athletic dogs. I enjoy playing fetch with a ball or frisbee if your dog does too. I always talk to the dogs I care for, get to know their uniqueness. I strive to make each get together a fun experience. If I board your dog I can guarantee he or she will enjoy the natural beauty and many opportunities to play and interact with other dogs. If you like I can take your dog to the dog park too if watching for consecutive days. I always take my dog out for an evening walk also. We both enjoy getting out and walking around. I love petting dogs and brushing them if they like it.
