I own my own pet sitting, Dog walking company on the north shore, PawsTooClaws ... I have been doing this for over 7 years ...but just went into business for myself a year ago. I have been a pet parent for 3 decades and truly love dogs. Working in the Chicago elements is not easy to do, our winters outside are brutal ... so sometimes it’s nice just to bond with the dogs as well as being physically active with them. It’s up to the client if they want their dog taken to a dog park ... it can be fun but risky. One can feel safe knowing someone like myself is around their dog and loving them beyond words ... as well as getting excercise, and whatever else is needed.
