Pet care experience
I spoil dogs like I spoil my own. No human food provided except for popsicles or ice as treats. My dog & I have been in several training classes and training as a team to one day become a therapy dog/handler. I started dog sitting along with my sister when she became overbooked. I have sat for five dogs plus my own at a clients home in the past, as well as, two dogs plus my own. I frequent dog parks, continue training, walk and play with my dog. I prefer to come to your home if it close & be permitted to bring my dog along with me. My former dog wore a cone most of the year for the past 2 years of her life.

Lori has dogsat our sweet, elderly shit Sue, Roxie, many times for us. Over the course of four years, she watched Roxie while we would go for a week or so vacation. She would always send us nice pictures of Roxie, and give daily reports on how Roxie was doing. It was very comforting to know that she was in wonderful hands. I knew that she would take care of Roxie the same way she was taking care of her own dog. And she loves her own dog very much; and she seems to love all animals very much. We have appreciated her tender loving care many times, and she has enabled us to actually enjoy our vacation and not ever have to worry about how Roxie was being taken care of. We had upmost confidence that she was in fantastic hands with Lori!

Due to the fact I live in an apartment I prefer not to board a dog if they frequently bark. I would also like to the meet the pet/owner beforehand. A dog that knows their basic commands and is housetrained is a plus.
A typical day
I walk in my neighborhood - sometimes to the dog park- and visit other surrounding parks. I also will walk in the hardware stores when weather is unfavorable. My dog rides along when I run errands or goes along for rides just to get out of the house. I also go to the dog park on sunny, dry days. Occasionally we stop for ice cream.
