Pet care experience
I've been caring for, sitting with, walking and loving dogs for 40+ years. That makes me sound old but I'm not! I'm young and love hiking with dogs. I am very responsible and take my job seriously. I will care for your fur babies like they are my own and go beyond. Whatever it takes! I have volunteered at shelters, recently in San Jose, and know how to socialize animals and walk them, as well as recognizing warning signs for illness or anxiety. I currently volunteer at an animal sanctuary that has not only dogs but many animal breeds, whom I care equally about. I am the property of a terrier named Fergus, who is my number one dude He likes to come with me on overnights but is certainly not necessary.. I would love to walk with, stay with, or keep company with your fur baby, as well.

Lori was great with our great dane pup. She was on time and sent lots of pics. She had no problem going out in the rain for walks. Would use her again!
Lori has been great--responsive, dependable and my dogs love her already! I feel so happy knowing that they're getting a great mid-day walk when we're gone for several hours, and feel confident going away knowing that she'll be staying with them and taking care of them when we go away on a trip.
I can't say enough great things about Lori. We have an11-week old puppy that needed extra love and attention, while we took a 4-day vacation that was planned prior to getting our new furbaby. I was so nervous about leaving him with someone we didn't know. Not to mention we are still working on potty training and due to still needing vaccinations, he can't go on walks or to parks. She was simply amazing. She worked with him on all of the training we had started and gave him total love and attention while were were gone. She provided us tons of updates, photos and videos while we were gone. He had a bit of diarrhea while we were gone. She immediately notified me, contacted the Rover Vet Tech, as well as our vet. She went and got him some organic pumpkin and he was good as new. She stayed in our home and I can tell you it was cleaner when we got back than how we left it for her. She was truly amazing and I will 100% be rebooking with Lori.
Lori was amazing with Bella! Took her on great hikes And gave her lots of love while I was away. Next time I'm out of town I will definitely give Lori a call!

A typical day
I like to take my companions on hikes among the redwoods or gentle walks in the neighborhood. They love nature and exercise as much as I do. Whatever they're in to, I'm there to make them feel happy and comfortable while their family is away. If they like the park, I love it! I'm also a massage therapist and practice massage on all the clients I sit with. They love it!! i volunteered in a high volume vet clinic for a year & 1/2 and am knowledgable about what dogs can or cannot have, as well as being vigilant in watching their behavior for illness or anxiety. Their well being is as important to me as my own. I am experienced in giving medications, watching animals with epilepsy, and that are incontinent or have other special needs. When sitting with animals, I allow myself to take other walking jobs during the day. If you would prefer I stay with your dog(s) or cat(s) full time, we would need to renegotiate the price of the stay. It’s important that you feel secure and relaxed as well as your fur babies while you are away.
