Pet care experience
I've had dogs pretty much my entire life. I've taken care of puppies as young as 8 weeks to as old as 13 years. I know and respect that each dog has its own personality and needs to be cared for differently depending on where they are in life. Puppies need play. Seniors need more patience. I love all animals but dogs hold a special place in my heart. I work from home so I am available pretty much 24/7 to care for your pups! I'm very flexible and will work around your schedule. I can board your pups overnight Sunday through Saturday. Take your vacations or business trips and relax, knowing that your babies are being cared for. I have a fenced yard but also have a trail surrounding a big lake. I have 3 pups of my own (1 Pomeranian, aged 12 and 2 long-hair Chihuahuas aged 5 and 3). If your dog prefers not to socialize, I don't have an issue crating my own. We have plenty of space in my house to keep them separated if needed.

Lorena looked after our pup, Daisy, for almost 2 weeks while we went overseas and I couldn't be happier with how well she took care of her!! Lorena made Daisy feel safe and loved whilst keeping her active and entertained (not an easy task!). Lorena was a pleasure to work with in the lead up - warm and friendly, making sure that we gave her all the information she needed to take the best possible care of Daisy. She kept us updated with lots of photos throughout her stay, and gave us a full update at the end. I have no hesitation recommending her to anyone who loves their dog !!
Lorena and her husband were a life saver for our family in watching our 9 week old puppy. We had an urgent situation and she was able to accommodate us and bring peace of mind to us. She was excellent with our puppy and took great care of her. Highly Recommended to anyone in need of dog sitting!
Lorena is one of the most dog loving people I have had the pleasure of knowing. She goes above and beyond for her fur babies and would do the same for any dog that would be in her care.

Does your pup have separation anxiety? Do they prefer not to be held? How about on walks, if they pass other dogs, should we stay clear? Do they like treats throughout the day? How many times a day should they eat? Do they get along with other dogs? If they stay at our home, it will be my husband and I taking care of them and we have 3 small dogs of our own (check my profile for their information).
A typical day
We're fortunate to have a nice walking trail around a large lake that's about 1/3 of a mile around. I take my own dogs out 3 times a day around the lake. There's also walking trails outside of my community that I occasionally take my dogs when they're particularly rambunctious. Throughout the day, your pups can expect a lot of play (with their own toys or ours) and trips outside either in our fenced yard our around the lake. They'll get plenty of exercise and enjoy their stay here.
