We already have something in common...A very strong love for our furbabies!! I will treat your dogs as I would my own I promise...If I was a dog this is where I would want to stay @ Gracie's Cottage! I work at home so your dog will never be left alone for more than an hour for an errand. We have a huge doggie Park type safe yard with two large trees for squirrel chasing, playing ball and general doggie play activities. Dogs get a daily walk to the park down the street and get daily doggie treats. Although I am new on Rover I have been dog sitting for over 4 yrs and lots of references. ***Although some of my dog size preference falls into the MEDIUM size dogs in my listing I usually only go up to 25/30lbs as the lower end of the MEDIUM spectrum.*** I have real little ones here and a elderly disabled man that we can't risk him getting bowled over by an excited playful 40+ dog. I love meet & greets for new clients however I no longer provide meet & greets on Sundays that is my day for personal and spiritual time. About Me: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 5yrs old and helped my mom raise puppies. So I have 30+ yrs experience with dog care. I have started a pet rescue organization in 1991 that is still in operation and I participate in Yorkie Rescue with a National Organization. I am the best Dog MOM you could ask for while you are away hands down. Ask my previous clients:) I have great clients and regular dogs that I have been sitting for several years, they love the big yard all the treats and sleeping in bed with me at night. Many clients leave their dogs with me for 10 days + because they trust me and know that this is their pets home away from home. Owners tell me their dog gets very excited when they are turning down the street and coming to aunties house. they are very excited to be coming here with their doggie pals and playmates. My back story......... My history with animals goes back many years to when I was a child helping my mother raise show puppies. We lived on a small ranch (horses etc) and I have been an "animal person" forever. I am very in tune to animals and have been rescuing dogs for years. I even carried a box of nursing puppies and bottle feed them for 8 weeks because their mother was killed by a car. All my friends would say when they saw me carrying around these puppies and feeding them was...."Well that is Loree for you!"
