I am new to Rover but here is a bit about my experience: I am a pet owner of 5 years and often help out friends in caring for their pups when they are out of town. I provide a consistent schedule and value the connection between the caretaker and pet. I'm excited to meet your dog to ensure that we do have that connection and that they will feel at ease with me. Then I'm ready to take your dog for a long walk, play with them in the yard, or cuddle on the couch.

Let me know if your fuzzy friend has any particular needs or routines that I should be aware of including any standards and rules that are expected. Thing that are helpful to know include: Is your dog sensitive to certain stimuli? Are they reactive to other dogs? Do you have a preferred vet or emergency vet? Are they likely to run out the door?
A typical day
We'll start the day off with a long walk and breakfast. We will go for a second walk in the mid afternoons and other potty breaks as needed. If there is a yard and your dog likes to play fetch or other activities we will spend some time playing outside. Your dog will get lots of exercise and the stimulation they desire.

Availability
As a full-time student I have a set schedule Monday-Friday so I will be able to provide your pets with a consistent and stable schedule. This means I will be available to check in on your pets every 4-6 hours during the day and I will be with them in the evenings. On the weekends and during school breaks I will be able to spend the day with them and take them for long walks or hikes. I am available for check-ins and walks along with dog sitting for multiple days at a time.
