Pet care experience
Growing up on a farm, my appreciation for the companionship that all sorts of animals can provide, began at a very young age. Everything from pet ducks, hatching and raising chickens, kittens, dogs, hamsters, lizards, and even budgies and cockatoos! You name it I’ve probably done it! I have lots of experience with caring for pregnant and labouring dogs as my family bred golden retrievers. This included puppy care and vet checkups. As we owned the stud and momma, I also have lots of experience caring for non spayed and neutered dogs. I have lots of experience watching multiple dogs at once. My record is 15! 12 of those were puppies ;) I grew up with not only golden retrievers. I also have lots of experience caring for Shi Tzu’s, Labradors, Beagles, Border Collies, Husky’s and Shelties. I have experience with anxious, aggressive, shy, excitable, playful, and loving animals. I love to explore the outdoors and if I could bring a pet companion with me it would make it that much more enjoyable!

Lora was super friendly at the meet and greet and was great with both of our dogs. She sent an update every day while we were which was much appreciated! The dogs were clean and happy when we came home ?
Lora was a wonderful sitter for our anxious cat. He doesn’t usually warm up to people very quickly but Lora was patient, and sent pics of him relaxed and playing the whole time we were away. We would highly recommend Lora, and will definitely be requesting she catsit for us again in the future.
Lora is reliable, lovely with animals and an outstanding caregiver to our young dog, Rupert. Highly recommend and grateful to her for looking after Rupert and taking him for daily walks. She’s superb!

I have two very friendly kitties and a spayed 2 year old old Labernese mix to keep your pets company when I’m not home :) and I think a healthy amount of daily exercise is really important!!

Information Lora M. would like to know about your pet
Ideally I’m looking for a play mate for my doggo so please let me know if they have any anxieties or aggressive tendencies so that I can plan accordingly. Please let me know if they are spayed or neutered. Again just so I can take the necessary precautions to make sure we don’t have any unwanted accidents ;) Also, if they don’t get along well with cats my apartment is large enough that I can easily separate them. Again, I’ll just need heads up so I can setup appropriately. My puppy usually comes with me to work during the day so your dog can have some alone time but if they get along well and your pup would prefer a buddy I can leave them together! (If this is a request for house sitting my dog will be staying home as I live with my boyfriend and roommate)
A typical day
I live right in the heart of beautiful Port Royal which offers an excellent opportunity for a walk with tons of fields to run around in and play fetch but if a longer adventure is required no worries! I have a reliable vehicle and a willingness to drive just about anywhere my car can take me!

Availability
I currently have a full time job Tuesday to Saturday but I’m free anytime after 5pm on those days. I’m also hoping to get out for more early morning walks and adventures :)
