Pet care experience
I previously owned and operated a private pet care business in Florida, in addition to years of caring for pets free of charge. I’ve worked with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, guinea pigs, and more! In addition to walking and general care, I’ve helped owners train dogs of all ages with various needs. I also have experience with diabetic, blind, and deaf dogs.

Lora is a very sweet and attentive dog lover. She asked all kinds of questions to get to know Toby’s comfort level with other dogs and animals, with his exercise routine, and just his daily schedule to help him feel less stressed about the new environment. Her dog, Chloe, is a sweetheart, too. It was a great environment for my pretty anxious pup.
My husband and I were out of of state for a long weekend and Lora took amazing care of our Faye dog while we were away. She was available last minute for us and was so accommodating to our drop off and pick up needs. Lora was extremely friendly, warm and welcoming and treated our dog as her own. She was great with communication and sending pics and video updates. Faye dog enjoyed multiple dog park adventures, playtime, naps and cuddles and it was clear she was having a great time. Our minds were at ease, we greatly appreciate her taking such good care of Faye. We highly recommend Lora, she is our go to from here on out!
Lora was wonderful with Dante while I took my son out to college. She sent pictures of their weekend together and made him feel right at home. Dante has some separation anxiety and didn't have any signs while I was gone. Lora's pets are also very calm and curious and took Dante into their home with no issues at all. I would highly recommend Lora and Dante will be visiting her again on my next trips.
Lora is the best. I get anxious leaving my dog because we haven’t been apart much due to Covid, but Lora sent frequent pics of Karl having the best time. She gave him the exercise he needed and even helped improve his manners while walking. I will 100% be using Lora again as she is responsible and lovely to work with. Most importantly, I know that Karl adores her.

If boarding, I have a small, sleepy pup and a friendly cat who loves to play with other animals! Dogs are welcome to lounge on furniture, burrow in blankets, and cuddle in my bed. All pets are treated as royalty in my home or yours! I can help with training as well as spoiling extra, for those who need it. For home visits, I do quick stops and Netflix dates (if your pet loves to cuddle on the couch, I will lounge with them as you would), whichever is your pet’s preference. If your pup loves hiking, we can discuss what level of hike they need while you’re away and we will explore the great outdoors together! While I have prices set on my profile, I will always customize to your pets exact needs and will offer you custom pricing. Discount for boarding stays of 5+ nights.

I very much appreciate pre-written instructions (text or paper) with daily needs (ie: feeding / treat schedule, walk / play schedule, sleeping habits)! Please let me know of any special needs, medication requirements, and typical behaviors / temperament at time of booking request. Please include reactions to other animals, people / children, and bicycles you have witnessed, even if they only occasionally present (this helps me keep your pet safe on walks). Before arriving, please send photo proof of rabies vaccination and add vet information to your profile. Thank you!
A typical day
I live in front of an open space and next to a dog park and open field. I am able to walk pets near my home for up to 5 miles, as well as dog park play time (if this is part of their normal routine - no new park introductions for safety reasons)! Mountain hikes, playing catch, and cuddle time are on itinerary, as well! This is a safe sanctuary for all, complete with an elevator to make the fourth floor journey easeful for all visitors :)

Availability
I have an extremely flexible schedule which allows me to work from home, with occasional work out of the house (short periods of about 4 hrs). I have availability for boarding, sitting visits, and walks throughout the week. Your pets needs will be met according to their current schedule!
