Pet care experience
I have owned dogs most of my life and have taken many thru dog school and was awarded trophies for training. I had miniature schnauzers and loved training them. Sadly we had to put down our last one right before we moved to MN.

Lonni and Steven were wonderful caring for Boldy for 4 days. They provided love, excellent care, companionship, exercise and abundant TLC while I was gone along with great updates and pictures. Boldy definitely has a new home away from home. She will be back with her new friends! Thank you Lonnie and Steven!
Lonni and Steve were fabulous hosts! They were super accommodating and treated our Maisie like a princess. She seemed to love her time with them!!
Lonni and Steven took good care of Brody while he stayed at their house while my wife and I were away. Brody had an emergency at their house and they provided good care for him during it. We would definitely book again. :)
Lonnie and Steven were extremely welcoming and communicative during my dog Lucy's 1 week boarding stay. Lucy can be a little nervous, has anxiety around other dogs, and is picky eater, but they handled these challenges very well. I especially enjoyed getting pictures of her sitting with them on the couch and hanging out with them on the deck. They treated her like family. I highly recommend Lonni & Steven and would not hesitate to book with them again!

If training is requested I would love to do that and I would walk them around our quiet neighborhood circle of all newer homes. Feed them in the kitchen and let them sit on the sofa with us when we watch tv at night.

I would like to know if they are prone to chewing, biting or having accidents in the house ahead of time. I like small dogs. Especially Schnauzers and prefer non or light shedding dogs. I don’t mind brushing them or training them, either on a leash or just tricks.
A typical day
I would like to spend time walking on a leash around the neighborhood. Training to walk on a leash is a favorite thing to do. There is a nice walking trail in our neighborhood. Playing fetch or other games with toys in the house would be part of our daily plans.

Availability
I am retired and am free most days. In the mornings I leave for about an hour to go exercise and sometimes I babysit my 2 grandkids after school. That leaves plenty of dog time. And if I have to leave usually my husband is home.
