Pet care experience
I have always had pets in my life. My family had a pet cat for 14 years growing up, and I got to see her from her young and excited ages to her more mellow age, and have experience with cats of both energies today. My family's dog joined us 7 years ago as a puppy who had a plethora of energy. Training him and handling his special diet and medical issues are skills that I now have under my belt in pet care experience.

Amazing!! Took amazing care of my beagle baby boy! Sent lots of pictures, was super on time, and had great check ins!
Lola was great with our 12 year old--she accommodated his aging quirks, making sure he got out but recognizing his desire/need to go slow, or not far at all. When he unexpectedly threw up, she was on top of it with ideas for feeding him till his tummy recuperated. The house was in great shape when we returned. She sent pics and a note on a daily basis. Will definitely have Lola back again!
Lola was great taking care of my pup Kali!! I received regular updates. I came home to a happy pup! I highly recommend LoLa and will definitely book her again!
Lola took a change in my cat's medication in stride and accommodated the needs of my spoiled kitten. Loved that she sent me a picture while I was gone.

For in-home checks or house sitting, my priority (after your pet) is respect for your family's environment. When house sitting and pet sitting in the past in friends' homes, I respected the space as much as possible and did my best to stick to any guidelines they had given me.

I like to know about a pets likes and dislikes before watching them or checking in on them. This is helpful to know whether to schedule a big day with them or not. Other things that are important for me to know about a pet are any medical needs the dog might have with me and how the pet is used to responding to any concerning situations.
A typical day
With the pets that I watch, I want to prioritize their personalities and the activities that they would like to do. If they are a more social pet used to going to parks and meeting other dogs, that it what we will do. If they are more shy but still energetic, a private place such as a backyard will be a fun place to play. If they are mellow dogs and cannot handle overwhelming exercise, we will find other activities to fill the day.

Availability
I am currently at home much of the time, which gives me a lot of flexibility for in home checks on pets, or staying with pets in their own environment for longer periods of time, which can be beneficial for some pets who need or want the extra attention. I have the space and care in my schedule to give the dedication and attention your pet needs.
