I have been a dog lover from childhood. My first dog memory was looking in the breed book to imagine what breed I might attach myself to. The Beagle I wanted turned out to be a Schnauzer mix that I named Snuffy. Next came GT who took me into my adolescence, a tan Terrier who had a voracious appetite for tennis balls. I adapted the Black Lab..."Timewarp" from a U.C. Berkeley student house and renamed her Mala. I loved them all into old age and dealt with their deterioration with compassion and kindness. GT was killed by a car in my senior year of high school the day I came home from Hawaii after playing in a soccer tournament. She was the hardest to lose as she was following me to school wondering where I had been for a week. I have been a homeowner in Marin and understand and respect the environment that people have chosen as their homes. I will always leave it in the way it was presented to me at the least. I have home schooled and raised 2 daughters and have learned patience and tolerance through that experience as a father..If you have a piano, I will happy to keep the hammers in shape as I have been playing all my life. I don't have work obligations at the present and can be on top of the needs of your pet. I enjoy getting to know the quirks of the different breeds. I recently pet sitted two Pugs overcoming an earlier judgement about them and found them delightful. I am 63 years old and single, health conscious, mostly vegeterian.
