I have known Lois for the past several years, having met through a walking group, SacFit. We’ve shared many walks, including a marathon, all offering the opportunity to talk and get to know someone. I consider her a dear friend and easily bonded over our love ❤️ for dogs. She dearly loves German Shepherds, having been a pet mom to 4 Shepherds over the years, starting when her now grown children were young. They were members of the family and I was most familiar with Schubie, who she and her husband recently lost at age 12. Lois spoke often of walking Schubie, who loved his walks and Lois found joy in seeing his alert, happy, and curious self. Schubie was well mannered on and off leash, with the former being a testament to Lois’s concern for Schubie’s safety. Lois is a kind, compassionate, responsible, and gentle human being, who values family, human and animal, and helping. I so value her openness to listening and her easy going, friendly and warm communication style. I was so happy to learn of her interest in becoming a dog walker through Rover.
