I'm a longtime animal lover who grew up with a Shih Tzu and all sorts of reptiles. I volunteered at an animal shelter for several years and I have experience working with many different breeds and personalities. I now own two dogs, a dachshund and a rescue pitbull, and my strange duo are the loves of my life! I worked hard to train my pitbull so she was able to pass a therapy dog test and now she visits all over. My dachshund, Olive, has had back issues and I'm familiar with caring for breeds prone to IVDD and other health issues. I've also gained a lot more experience with cats ever since a stray cat picked me and has been welcomed into the family.
