Since I can remember, I have always been surrounded by animals and loved caring for them. Whether I was playing with my own cats and dogs or trying to bring in strays, most of my childhood memories revolve around animals. Beginning at age 15, I began pet sitting for the neighbors when they would go out of town. Word spread and I quickly became the pet sitter for several families until I went off to college. While in college, I decided to foster orphaned kittens and fell in love with my current kitty, Peach. While raising Peach I had to bottle-feed her and give her medications until she grew healthy and strong. Additionally, I have experience caring for my grandparents past older dog whom I often gave medication to while watching him. My first job after college made it too difficult to own a dog, despite wanting to, so I decided I would have to wait. After making the decision to pursue my master’s in clinical mental health counseling I quickly realized owning a dog would not be financially feasible while paying for an education, which is why pet sitting is something I love so much. Over the past several years I have watched dozens of dogs, big and small, old and young, cuddly or shy. I have no breed restrictions and promise to love each and every fur baby the same. I love to play with pups outside in my fenced in yard or take them for walks in my neighborhood.
