Logan is an exemplary caregiver. My two babies stayed with Logan's mom Shelley for many years. In 2017, I even traveled around the world on a sabbatical and they kept my dogs throughout the year for 6-8 weeks at a time. His mom started keeping my dogs *many* years ago and naturally, Logan was part of that package. He learned the ropes from his mom, who is just an awesome person. Logan from a young age grew to love my dogs as his own. By the time Shelley stopped pet-sitting a few years ago (due to getting an 8-5 office job), Logan was at an age where he naturally took over the responsibilities. I had absolutely no qualms having Logan be the main caregiver for my dogs from that point forward. I could always count on Logan when I left. My dogs loved staying with both of them. (I speak in past tense b/c my dogs are now deceased as of 2020). HUGE animal lovers they both are. He has cared for so many types of animals now. Very responsible and mature young man. Highly recommend Logan for any pet needs.

I think, especially on overnights, whether your dogs have a fear of thunder, storms, being alone, etc. Also, exact medication dosages and food prep is a must to know. On walks, it is good to know how far your dog can go before getting tired or needing to go back home. It's also important to know if there are any behaviors to be aware of, such as if your dog has seizures or if your cat likes to hide out of sight for long periods of time. Importantly, is your dog allowed on the furniture, in the bed, or what other behaviors are a no-no.
A typical day
I will spend a lot of time on the floor with them, keeping them close and feeling safe or playing "tug of war" with their favorite toy. Playing hide and seek really seems to be like a game all dogs love to play too! Charlie Daniels Park is a nice place to walk and offers lots of chances for your dog to see other animals. Or my own personal neighborhood is pretty quiet for some peaceful walks.
