Pet care experience
Animals are my life. There has not been a year that I haven’t had one. From small critters like guinea pigs and hamsters to 100+ pound lap dogs I have done it all! I have an unconditional love for all animals, and that’s why I do what I do. Life just isn’t the same without them! I like to joke and say “I’m on call” for pet sitting. Family and friends reach out to me all the time to take care of their fur babies while they are away, and I gladly take up that offer every time:) I currently work at the Auburn Valley Humane Society. I have worked here for a little over a year. I am an “ACT” (Animal Care Technician). I provide daily necessary care to all animals that are housed at the shelter. I administer medications, and have experience with administering vaccinations. Working in a shelter environment has allowed me to gain so much knowledge. I have experience with shy animals, animals with behavioral issues, sick/injured, senior animals, and even newborns! These shelter animals need lots of love and patience, and that’s what motivates me to wake up every morning. These animals depend on me, and I’m there to make an everlasting impact on their lives. You can rest assured that your pet will be safe and comfortable with me!

Logan house sat our dog and two cats and was great! She let our pets do whatever was comfortable for them, which for ours was being her shadow for a few days, and sent daily updates with pictures. She communicated any questions and was always quick to respond to texts. Our pets were happy and healthy when we got back home, and it brings such a peace of mind to know that my babies were well taken care of while we were away. Thank you, Logan!
Logan was awesome! Sweet, caring, and communicated everything my baby was up to and how he felt throughout the visits, he’s a very very shy boy but he approves of her. She even covered a last minute drop in visit for me without hesitation. Thank you Logan.

I currently live with 4 Labrador Retrievers, and one cat. All of my dogs are very dog/cat/people friendly and social. I have a fenced yard with plenty of space. My two older dogs are not crated during the day, and typically won’t be home as they go to work with my dad. My youngest are crated when they are home alone. I will be able to accommodate your pets needs in my home such as being crated, separate feedings, walks, playtime, etc. but we have a big crate if they need separated. I prefer watching pets in their own home because that is where they feel most comfortable, especially when their family is away. If they happen to stay at my house I will make it as comfortable and safe as possible for them.

A typical day
I am a huge fan of walking and playing fetch, and just being outside in general. My dogs go everywhere with me. They go hiking, swimming, camping, etc. Per owners request I would be more than happy to take your pup for a swim or hike, or anything else outdoorsy that your pup loves!

I am currently in my Junior year of college attending Saint Martin’s University in Lacey Washington. I attended class twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday. I work a part time job, and my work hours are pretty flexible. I typically work Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays. Most of these days are only 4 to 5 hour shifts. I am flexible with my schedule. I always say “if there’s a will, there’s a way”. Reach out to me and we will make it work!
