I make an effort to get to know each dog's personality, allowing me to discover how to best communicate. I speak to the dog with expression, and make sure to continuously check in during walks and play. I have experience helping abused and fostered dogs settle into new homes with healthy sleep and exercise schedules, and I understand the process of building trust. This all started because I was raised with rescue dogs, and my parents are beloved dog walkers in my hometown neighborhood. I learned from the best. Dogs are intelligent creatures with needs for companions and daily adventures. I have cared for dogs who need to chase after a ball 100 times and dogs who are afraid to go outside for fear of getting abandoned. For me, there is no dog I can't love.

Lockwood is so amazing, and we feel very fortunate to have her!!! She is so great with our crazy pups- especially our ornery pound puppy.
Lockwood was great! She helped out when I got bailed on by another walker and was so friendly. She put up with my million messages (I'm a nervous fur-momma and don't typically have people walk my dogs for me) and sent me pictures of my babies on their walk! Came home to some happy dogs so I assume they had a great time! Showed up right at the time I needed her. My dogs thank you!!
Lockwood is my go-to dog sitter. She will swing by and feed Coco or let her inside/outside when my work schedule gets crazy. Or if I'm going out of town, she'll just watch her full-time. This is no small feat, as Coco is sometimes unruly and can be intimidating for other potential dog-sitters. Lockwood is so sweet and loving to her, but also very firm and doesn't let Coco get away with her shenanigans. It's great to have Lockwood on my team, reinforcing positive behaviors and not allowing bad behaviors that we're working on! And Coco LOVES her!!!! Best. Sitter. Ever.
If I had to rate Lockwood on a scale of 1 to 5 for dog walking, she would be a 10! Lockwood loves every dog as if it were her own, and her affection is immediately reciprocated by each new canine friend. She has the high energy needed to engage and exhaust puppies, but also the calm demeanor and patience needed for older, more seasoned dogs. She will make a fantastic walking companion for your dog!
