Our challenging, though sweet, chihuahua mix (IYKYK) was happy and right at home with LK. She can be difficult and has some leash aggression issues but looked like she was having the time of her life with LK who diligently sent updates and photos of her sunbathing, walking, playing and snuggling throughout our 2 week trip. We have been hesitant to leave jane with people in the past but LK put us right at ease - he was always prompt to communicate and was flexible with scheduling pickups and drop offs (and even a last minute extension when our trip plans changed). All that said I am OVERJOYED to recommend LK to others though I hope he is still always available just for us in the future!

Tl;dr—LK goes above and beyond to put his clients minds at ease—which was definitely our priority when trusting our dogs care to someone else—and he does so with a perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism. We’ve used LK for both walks and dog/apartment sitting, and we can’t recommend him highly enough. From the time we first time contacted him, LK was responsive, friendly, and communicative, and he’s always been very punctual (yet still flexible enough to accommodate some last minute schedule changes on our end). We tend to be pretty protective of our dog (who has a specific diet and can be reactive/stubborn on the leash)—especially when it comes to having someone new watch him—but LK formed a bond with him almost immediately, and he proved more than capable of handling our somewhat neurotic instructions throughout his stay. He also provided regular updates throughout the day, including photos, walk/bathroom info., and how much our guy was eating, etc. LK was extremely respectful of our apartment/building and left it in perfect condition (including cleaning up and removing a stain after our dog threw up on a rug one night). Will definitely continue to rebook for a long time.
